Victoria’s 2024-25 Skilled Visa Nomination Program: Construction Trade Occupations Prioritised

Are you a skilled tradesperson in the construction industry looking to make Australia your new home? Victoria has opportunities for professionals, with a focus on construction trade occupations under the Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) and Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visas.



For the remainder of the 2024-25 Victorian skilled visa nomination program, certain construction trade occupations are being prioritised. If you're a skilled worker in one of these in-demand fields, you may have the chance to be nominated by the State of Victoria to apply for permanent or temporary residency.


The State of Victoria has identified construction trades as key areas of need, especially within regional areas. If you hold a qualification in any of the following priority construction trades, you may be eligible to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI):
