VETASSESS Expands Occupation Assessments: Key Changes for Skilled Migration

In a significant update for skilled migration to Australia, VETASSESS has announced the expansion of its occupation assessment services to include 20 new roles. These additions directly align with the Australian Government's recent implementation of the Skills in Demand Visa (subclass 482) and amendments to the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186).

VETASSESS is one of the Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) approved to assess qualifications and skills for migration for certain occupations within its auspices.

The introduction of the Skills in Demand Visa, replacing the Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482), marks a pivotal shift in Australia's skilled migration landscape. Notably, this new visa incorporates the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL), streamlining the process for key occupations in high demand.

VETASSESS's Expanded Assessment Capabilities

VETASSESS is now authorized to assess the following occupations for the Core Skills stream of the Skills in Demand Visa (subclass 482) and the Direct Entry stream of the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186):
